About the Artist

Marilynn Dwyer Mason was probably best known for her paintings depicting bears on vacation. In her world, bears raced in vintage speedboats on pine-ringed lakes, cruised in classic cars, cooked over campfires, rode bicycles, went on sleigh rides, lolled by the fireplace, and hiked. You will also see her fine art portraits and western landscapes that reveal her deep interest in Native American and western culture.
