Delivery & Shipping Options
We offer several delivery options depending on the item, brand, and how it is constructed. Many of our furniture pieces are handcrafted and not packaged for traditional shipping, so delivery methods vary.

Doorstep Delivery (LTL Freight)
Delivered via freight carrier to the first accessible area at ground level (typically curbside, driveway, or threshold/porch depending on shipment size, carrier practices, and access). This service does not include in-home placement, assembly, or packaging removal. The carrier may provide advance notice by phone/text/email and, when available, a delivery window.

White Glove Delivery (In-Home)
Includes in-home placement, unpacking, and light assembly where applicable.

Specialty Delivery (Blanket Wrap)
For handcrafted or specialty furniture that is not boxed. Items are transported in a furniture truck or trailer, fully padded and handled by delivery professionals. Includes in-home placement, unpacking, and light assembly where applicable.

Parcel Shipping (UPS/FedEx)
For smaller items that can be safely boxed and shipped.
Where We Deliver
We deliver furniture, rugs, and select home décor throughout the 48 contiguous United States.
- Furniture is delivered via White Glove or Doorstep service.
- Smaller items may ship via parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS).
- Items that are not eligible for shipping will be clearly marked “Store Pickup Only” on the product page.
Used for select handcrafted pieces that are not shipped boxed for maximum protection in transit.

Why Specialty/Blanket Wrap Delivery is Required for Some Pieces
Many of our premium furniture brands are handcrafted and shipped without packaging. To protect the integrity of each piece, we use blanket wrap delivery — a specialized service where items are padded, secured, and transported by professional furniture carriers.
Delivery Timing
Most furniture is made to order. Production lead time is listed on each product page and varies by item.
Once your order is complete and ready for shipment:
- Items are scheduled for pickup from the manufacturer or warehouse.
- White Glove delivery typically takes an additional 2–6 weeks from the date of pickup.
- Because our delivery partners coordinate routes nationwide, delivery timing may vary based on your location and scheduling availability.
- For in-stock items, pickup typically occurs within approximately 15 business days, followed by the same 2–6 week delivery window.
Delivery Scheduling
- You will be contacted 3–5 days prior to schedule delivery.
- Local deliveries include a 2-hour delivery window.
- White glove carriers will coordinate delivery timing directly with you.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to be available at the scheduled delivery time.
Local Market Delivery (Hayward, WI Area)
Available within approximately 75 miles of our Hayward, WI location.
Garage Drop
- Free within Hayward (minimum purchase required)
- $75–$199 outside Hayward (based on distance)
White Glove (In-Home)
- Room of choice placement
- Minor assembly
- Removal of packaging materials
- $199–$349 depending on location

IMPORTANT: Delivery & Inspection Policy
To ensure any issues can be resolved quickly, all items must be inspected at the time of delivery.
Before Signing the Delivery Receipt
Please check:
- All items are present
- Packaging and product for visible damage
- Surfaces, corners, and legs
If You Notice Damage
- Note ALL damage clearly on the delivery receipt (Bill of Lading)
- Take photos immediately
- You may refuse the item if damage is significant
After Signing
By signing the delivery receipt without noting damage, you confirm the item was received in acceptable condition. This may limit our ability to file a claim with the carrier.
If You Have an Issue
Email shipping@retreathf.com immediately with:
- Order number
- Description of issue
- Photos of damage
Missed Delivery Appointments
If you are not available at the scheduled delivery time:
- Delivery will be rescheduled
- A second delivery fee equal to the original delivery charge will apply
Preparing for Delivery
To ensure a smooth delivery:
- Clear pathways inside your home
- Remove wall décor and obstacles
- Secure pets
- Ensure adequate space for placement
Our delivery teams:
- Will place items in your room of choice
- Are not permitted to move existing furniture
- Do not install electronics or wall-mounted items
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on item size, weight, and distance. All delivery fees are displayed in your cart prior to checkout.
Order Changes & Refused Deliveries
If you cancel or refuse delivery:
- All freight charges apply
- Restocking fees may apply
- Storage and return shipping may be deducted from your refund
Existing Furniture Removal
We are unable to remove existing furniture. We recommend contacting a local donation or removal service.
